Matt Hoss is an award-winning, 26 year-old Stand-up Comedian & Writer from North Yorkshire.
After a highly successful Edinburgh Festival Fringe debut, Here Comes Your Man is an engaging show about blossoming love, intense romance and the need for men to be more open about their feelings. He is doing the tour entirely independently in intimate venues, with a neo-punk aesthetic. In this hour, you hear Matt’s raw anecdotes, emotionally honest routines, and relatable and personable tales of finding and losing his first true love. Matt guides the audience, with his upbeat persona, through a confessional yet sentimental narrative about learning to turn break-ups into a positive experience. After a year of major heartbreak and disastrous dates, Matt Hoss created this stand-up comedy show because he felt it was the only way to talk through his pain. However, it goes far beyond your average break-up show. From the perspective of his own heartbreak, Matt details why male comedians talk about their break-ups onstage, and why some are less than courteous to their exes. Matt strives to discuss Men’s Mental Health, and how men rarely communicate their feelings or vulnerabilities.
Here Comes Your Man is not a show about falling in love: it’s a journey of self-acceptance, and Matt’s earnest love of love and learning to love yourself, regardless of the situation.
