Award-winning film director Dean Midas from Willington in Durham has announced a shock new horror release for the Spring called The Review.
The POV (Point of view) short horror film will feature young singer/songwriter Zackri from Crook, who is fresh from his headline show at Newcastle’s Think Tank.

The Review will also feature upcoming performer Flic Gibbon and local actress Eleanor Carter, who has appeared in Dean’s Sayer Hicks horror franchise.

“I had the idea for this film around Halloween time last year and now we are finally ready to go. The Review will be a supernatural tale and will follow two podcasters as they stay the night at a local haunted property”

Award winning musician, Sam Haynes will also return to write and produce the film’s title track.
Dean and his films have won numerous awards over the years. His character Eve Valentine, has her own room at The Manor House Hotel & Spa, West Auckland called The Eve Suite.
