Award winning County Durham filmmaker Dean Midas, has announced that he is to taking his horror character Eve Valentine from the small screen to theatres and even the West End.
Dean is currently writing the script for the play with a working title of ‘Eve’. It will be ‘based’ in the fictional West Manor AKA The Manor House Hotel & Spa, West Auckland.
“The story will focus more on the supernatural side of Eve and the aim is to give the audience an adrenaline thrill ride from the safety of their seat”

Darkus Magazine recently awarded Dean the title of North East Filmmaker of the Year and he is also featured on the Amy Oakden breakfast show on BBC Tees on a feature called ‘Midas at the Movies’
American voice actor Roger L Jackson, the famous voice of Ghostface in the Scream franchise has also provided the opening audio for two of Dean’s previous films.
Dean is a huge champion of the north east and his short films feature local actors and venues from across the region.
