Community station Aycliffe Radio is chuffed to present a “Back to the Eighties” Tribute night with two freeze-dried, shake and vac fresh acts performing the best and even greater hits of the 1980s.

It’s all happening at the Big Club in Newton Aycliffe, on Saturday 29th February 2020. Doors open at 7.00pm and tickets are £4.00 each.

The show feature’s the world’s best tribute to the 1980’s. Relive the era of big Thatcher hair, bigger HIV awareness, and even biggest Wall Street crashes, with The Amazing 80’s! They will take you on a one way journey back to the days when the airwaves were all about Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet and Wham, and mobile phones came in a suitcase, and suitcases were made of ballistic nylon.

The Ska Madness guys bring you the music that shaped the 1980’s, from Camden to Madison Square Gardens. With incredible live vocals from the rude boy and the monkey man, the nutty boys have all your favourite Madness hits from “Our House” and “It Must Be Love” to “Baggy Trousers” as well as classics from iconic artists like The Specials and Bad Manners.

Tickets for this incredible event are available at £4 each from the Big Club or Newton Press reception in Newton Aycliffe.
