The Cross Keys pub in Gainford, built in 1759, is said to have experienced ongoing paranormal activity for the past nine months. The documentary will called Spirits of the Cross Keys Gainford is out now.
The landlord, Louis Jerrom called in award winning film director Dean Midas who analysed the CCTV footage, interviewed the witnesses and brought in a paranormal team to spend the night in the pub.
Glasses have come off shelves, doors have been mysteriously opening on their own and, on one occasion, a glass exploded with no one near it. All of these events have been caught on CCTV and are featured in the documentary.

Louis Jerrom said,
“Over the past few months the activity and the intensity have been gathering pace and that’s why we have called someone in”
Dean was joined on the 2nd September by paranormal investigators Brian Holloway, Kyle Gibson and Steven Angus.
Dean said,
“Whether you are a believer or a sceptic, this is a must watch documentary. The paranormal investigation was very, very interesting and left us with a few unanswered questions”

Away from this documentary, Dean is currently working on a family friendly Halloween short film called Alfie’s Dream, out in early October and Mr Midas returns on BBC Radio Tees this Friday on the Amy Oakden breakfast show with Midas at the Movies.
