A sustainable fashion entrepreneur who transformed a hobby run from her living room into a successful luxury styling boutique has been shortlisted for three prestigious honours at the 2026 FB Fashion Ball Business Hero Awards.
Maddie Sidebottom, founder of Wynyard Re:Loved, has been nominated for North East Independent Business of the Year, North East Inspirational Businesswoman and the North East Community Impact & Diversity Award.
The nominations come as the business celebrates its four-year anniversary. Since its launch, Wynyard Re:Loved has evolved from a Facebook page into an exclusive, appointment-only boutique that operates without a traditional shopfront or website. It sells stock through social media and a VIP WhatsApp community.

Maddie said:
“These nominations are for the fantastic community of Re:Loved women. It’s never just been about selling clothes; it’s about confidence.
“Many of my clients are navigating menopause, illness or neurodiversity and find traditional shopping environments overwhelming. The one-to-one appointment model allows me to focus entirely on the individual and offer a genuine, honest styling service.”
Maddie, who has 20 years of experience in fashion styling, offers personal style advice as part of the Re:Loved service. The boutique specialises in premium high-street and designer fashion, including clothing, bags, shoes and accessories, aimed at making luxury style more accessible and sustainable.
The business has gained attention for styling clients for high-profile occasions, including Buckingham Palace garden parties and visits to 10 Downing Street, as well as dressing public figures including Steps singer Faye Tozer. Robbie Williams also wore a Burberry jacket sourced through Wynyard Re:Loved.

A vocal critic of the fast fashion industry, Maddie has built the business on a “Re:Love, Re:Use, Re:Cycle” ethos.
“Fast fashion is devastating the environment,” she said.
“I don’t even use the term ‘pre-loved’ because that implies the item’s life is in the past. We are about the next journey. We are proving that you can have timeless, designer style without the environmental cost of buying new.”
The company has also built a strong charitable focus, supporting organisations including Mind and Feeding Families. Unsold items have raised over £5,000 for Mind in Norton, while a series of fundraising campaigns and events have generated more than £20,000 for Feeding Families.
The FB Fashion Ball, often described as the “Northern Met Gala,” is a flagship event celebrating the intersection of business, fashion and charity. The 2026 Business Hero Awards ceremony will take place in Newcastle on Thursday, May 21.
