Nando’s in Durham has reopened, following a six-week refurbishment and is tantalizing taste buds once more.

The restaurant reopens with everything (and more!) that Nando’s aficionados love about their PERi-PERi eatery. Together with a fresh new look, the restaurant has some new kit including but not limited to (so you’ve got to visit us to experience all the new gear), a bottomless Rubro Iced Tea machine to complement the existing bottomless soft drink range. The restaurant has also levelled up – with new mezzanine floor, that seats around 25 people, perfect for large gatherings with friends and family.

Nando’s continues its No Chuckin’ Our Chicken food donation programme, which operates in every Nando’s restaurant across UK and Ireland with daily donations to local charities, community groups, food banks and soup kitchens. Nando’s Durham teams up with ReFuse, community café based in Chester-le-Street, to redistribute left over food at the end of every day and donates over 1200 meals a year to the charity.

“I’m so excited to be reopening our doors and welcoming fans, old and new, into our new restaurant. It looks amazing! With a fresh new look and state of the art equipment, we are ready to get grilling for everyone again, and to also continue all our community work. No Chuckin’ Our Chicken food donation programme is so important to us and I know that we are going to smash our donation records this year!”

June Russell, General Manager of Nando’s Durham
