Dean Midas Releases New Horror Short Filmed in Durham

Award-winning North East filmmaker Dean Midas has announced the official release of his latest short horror film, The Stitcher, which will be available this weekend on YouTube and Facebook.

Filmed entirely on location in and around Durham, The Stitcher shines a spotlight on some of the city’s most recognisable historic landmarks and vibrant venues, including the iconic Shakespeare Tavern, the City Theatre and the Durham Regatta. Despite its spine-chilling storyline, the film presents Durham in a stunning visual light, blending the historic beauty and unique character of the area with high-tension indie horror storytelling.

The production features an all-local cast from across the North East, whose standout performances bring the eerie narrative to life.

The Stitcher will be available to stream via Dean Midas Films on YouTube & Facebook from October 2nd.
