Award-winning film North East Director, Dean Midas has confirmed that filming will start on his new horror short, this weekend (4th February)
Dean’s new movie will be called Eve Valentine and will see the character’s return, of the same name, played by the fantastic Sam Lavery.
Eve’s last outing was back in October 2022, with the popular All Hallows Eve Rebirth. It is the most-watched film in the franchise’s history. Filming will also return to the stunning Manor House Hotel, West Auckland, known as West Manor in the films.
Mr Midas said “People love this character, she really captures people’s imagination. This film will give us an insight into Eve’s younger days. I can’t wait to get started and I can’t wait to get back to the Manor House”
Dean will also team up with music producer, Sam Haynes and local singer Jenna Learoyd for the film’s title track.
Dean’s last film, The Devil’s Stone won the audience vote at the Lift-Off Global Network Sessions hosted at the famous Pinewood Studios.
Eve Valentine will be released on Friday 26th April, just before the Halfway to Halloween weekend.
