Cllr Darren Grimes, Durham County Council’s deputy leader and Cabinet member for finance, said:

“We are dedicated to making a difference in our communities through the vast array of services we deliver, and we are looking for people who share that vision.

“At this event you’ll meet the teams who do just that, and you might just find a role that lets you play your part too. Whether you’re starting out or ready for a change, this is a chance to put your skills to work for your own community, and to feel proud of it.”

The free careers fair is being held at Durham Cricket at Banks Homes Riverside in Chester-le-Street on Wednesday 12 November, between 2pm and 7pm.
