Behind the Scenes of Dean Midas' Highly Anticipated Horror: The Devil's Stone
Dean filming The Devil's Stone

Last weekend, award-winning film director Dean Midas and his cast filmed scenes for The Devil’s Stone at the newly renovated Park Head Hotel in New Coundon.

Dean’s highly anticipated new horror short is about The Devil’s Stone, which is the central feature of the landscaped area outside the council offices in the centre of Crook.

It is called the Devil’s Stone because it is said if you run seven times around it, the devil himself will appear.

Dean has already filmed at The Witham, Barnard Castle and the production resumed with a morning’s work at the Park Head Hotel.

Dean said, “The hotel is absolutely stunning and the staff were all so friendly and supportive, this kind of help for low budget film-makers is priceless”

This week, Dean and his team received some more great news, with the release of a Sayer Hicks 8-bit style t-shirt.

American podcaster & film reviewer, Neal Jones is behind the t-shirt and it should be available to buy online very soon.

The Devil’s Stone will be released on Dean Midas Films YouTube and media channels on Friday 13th October.
