HOME buyers will be able to get a first glimpse of a new Durham housing development at a special event this month (June).

Station Fieldsis at the heart of the historic railway village of Tanfield – home to the world’s oldest railway, dating back to 1725.

And leading housebuilder Miller Homes North East is holding an information day on Thursday 13 June, at The South Causey Inn, Stanley, for anyone keen to learn more about the site and the properties on offer.

The development of two to five-bedroom properties and offering energy saving measures such as solar panels and featuring open plan layouts and be build to the latest building regulations, set in rural surroundings bordered with trees.

Miller Homes staff will be on hand to answer questions and guide potential buyers through the house styles, specification and guide prices of the first homes set to be released for sale.

Potential buyers will also be able to seek advice on all aspects of the home buying process from an independent financial advisor from the Mortgage Advice Bureau and legal expert from Newcastle-based Jacksons Solicitors.
