Horror film director Dean Midas unleashes two new short films featuring The Rag Dolly

Dean Midas, the acclaimed horror film director from Durham, has recently revealed the upcoming release of two new short films, featuring the infamous character The Rag Dolly.

Dean is having a fantastic year in 2023, having been honored as the North East Film-Maker of the Year and recognized as the Film Master on BBC Upload.

All of Dean’s short horror films are shot using mobile phones in HD quality, and have gained international recognition, receiving several awards such as the Best Villain award for The Rag Dolly at an American festival.

Dean and his film team only expected around 4,000 views in total for his horror franchise, remarkable, they have just hit 260,000 and growing.
Dean also has plans for an interactive game, and he is in talks for his characters to appear at a local Halloween scare walk, later in the year.
Dean said, “This year has already got off to an amazing start and with two new short films on the way, it is going to be a busy 2023”
Both films will be released during 2023.
