Fresh from celebrating a star-studded line-up and a sold-out weekend (21-22 August), one of the North East’s biggest festivals is already looking to the future.

Thousands of music fans headed to the grounds of Sedgefield’s Hardwick Hall Hotel for the long-awaited return of Hardwick Festival, featuring huge names including Nile Rodgers and CHIC, Rag’n’Bone Man, Maximo Park and Razorlight.

And plans are already in place to bring it back even bigger and better next year, with organisers revealing the 2022 event will take place from 20 to 21 August.

Elsewhere on the site, festival-goers enjoyed performances at the Treehouse Arena, Soul Tent, and Introducing Stage, with world-renowned club brand Glitterbox returning to The Courtyard.

And the music wasn’t the only thing on the line-up over the weekend, with a popular comedy tent and a whole range of children’s entertainment for all ages to enjoy.

John Adamson, who owns Ramside Estates, is delighted to celebrate yet another fantastic event.

“We are so grateful to everyone who made the event such a success, from our incredible line-up to the energy of our festival-goers and, of course, the events team who have been working around the clock to pull off something really spectacular.

“We can’t wait to start working on next year’s event and we’ve already got the dates in the diary with plans underway – so it will certainly be one that music lovers won’t want to miss.”
