Orcel Navigation have a purpose built training centre that specializes in delivering the shore based Royal Yachting Association courses.
This is the ideal place for Co. Durham residents to brush up their nautical skills whether they own a boat, already work at sea, or are starting out on the sailer’s life.
The Day Skipper theory course (which takes 5 days total) is very popular; the next course starts on 29th October and will be run on Saturdays and Sundays. The course includes learning lots about navigation, meteorology, collision regulations and safety procedures.
