Crafted in Durham from start to finish the gin is expertly monitored and created by hand in the distillery. Their signature 1st Edition Gin was just six months into production when the gin was awarded Silver at the prestigious 2021 London Spirits Competition. Now in its fourth year, the prestigious competition is annual judging of international spirits organised by the Beverage Trade Network and the Silver medal is an ultimate endorsement in the global spirits industry.

Each bottle is infused with nature using handpicked, measured botanicals and natural mineral spring water to ensure the freshest, most authentic taste. The distillery is committed to combining its passion for gin with capturing the charm and nature of the region.

With their strong North East roots and a community ethos at the heart of the company, Scott was also delighted to recently receive the UK Business Heroes Stamp from the British Chamber of Commerce UK Business Heroes Scheme for his support during the pandemic. The UK Business Heroes Stamp recognised the community work undertaken when the distillery paused production and utilised their raw materials to make sanitiser to help charities, emergency services, the NHS and vulnerable individuals.

Scott added, “I was honoured to receive the unexpected recognition for our work during the pandemic, so many individuals and companies have come together to support others over the months through difficult times and it was humbling to receive the award.”

As seen in Fenwick, Vogue and GQ magazine the explosion of flavours and creations from the award-winning distillery continue be a hit with gin enthusiasts. Wilson’s Gin Club ‘Watermelon and Liquorice’ is now available for pre-order from www.wldistillery.com
